(Yawner …) Triple prime number witching day this Phans so once again those who subscribed benefit, the tightie wads-worths … ‘oh well’. SUFFER por favor.

As mentioned earlier, those with an affinity to numbers will benefit greatly subscribing 2017 vs 2018.

Next year 18 will be as far from a prime triple as in it simply WILL NOT happen. So, enjoy them this year in abundance while you can and just wait yet agai for 2019. Nice isn’t it ?

ANY prime number day in the ENTIRE MONTH of N will be a triple witching holiday come to think of it. I am starting to REALLY LIKE this new calendar !!

CUT THE DRIVEL. ISSUE REPORT ON MAST, HOW WERE THINGS IN MCK. POR FAVOR.

OK. I can tell you are INSISTING.

From a perspective on the number of visitors, gallery attendance was down but visitors were very HIGH QUALITY.

EXPLAIN …

Of course.

Revenue in the form of sales went thru the roof. In the art business, as with any other form of capitalism, sales, revenue and volume are main drivers AND what it is all about.

For example, if 500,000 people LIKE your stuff on facebook, instagram etc and 500,000 come thru on the tour and none make a purchase, is THAT a good show?

I am thinking not so much.

If only 10 true Quality Patrons show up and only one buys multiple items, see where I am going ?

THAT’S A GREAT SHOW.

I sold two waste baskets made from the reclaimed weathered wood which was about time and created some nice open space in the garage.

One shorebird that I had on the mantle display that was not (quite) finished with the painting. A tour to view fish was set up for later in the month with the intent of patron visiting for the Holiday to select one fish for a Christmas or birthday gift. This was cool beans.

A package of note cards sold. The Observation Deck from Rio Lagartos was a peaceful & tranquil image said the buyer.

Also, the killdeer which was on display at the Heard Center for the Fine Arts sold on Saturday and I took another shorebird and a full blue-winged teal decoy to replace it. Hadn’t heard if either one of those sold yet.

The big news best for last was a commission for a painting. Over my mantle the background for the shorebird diorama was so admired that Patron wanted one similar for over a mantle at their new home so sure. Received a nice deposit and waiting on dimensions to get a canvas & start the process. They will say ‘take your time’ but these are good folks and my goal for delivery is Christmas OR house warming party.

Isn’t that cool ? I think so.

Today I played CCC and was hugely disappointed. The skill level and shot production simply did not transfer at all from the range to the course and the outing was millimeters from a total disaster. I was glad to get off the course and happier still when I arrived home after battling the horrendous traffic with the ‘Check Engine Soon’ light on.

Today's image is a repeat I know from some time ago but this will be the picture of the seascape that I will replicate for the commission in the coming weeks.

I am beat, bush and it will be an early night so I can fire up and out all over again first thing in the morning.
