Yo. Fans. Taking a time out on a beautiful day here, very productive on all fronts and giving, SHARING some quality time for the citizens and general population of Bill nation.

Taking a break from painting and a mini-to-nano celebration for knocking out the ‘to-do’ list for the day BEFORE noon.

I have had breakfast, skipped coffee totally & completely, and I feel OK.

I got current on correspondences & all fronts covered. I set an alarm on the ‘smart-phone’ for later to call the tenant at the rental about a pest application tomorrow afternoon. Still waiting on the 2017 Christmas cards for pick up. Today or tomorrow and ahead of schedule and crunch time.

Listening to Mitch Rapp audiobook not sure of the title. I checked out the last one I hadn’t listened to from APL and then motored up to McKPL to make a return and hey had 8-10 different ones (!) so I checked one out which is in now.

Very cool to listen to leisurely while painting. NO COMMERCIALS !! Nirvana !!

While the paint dries, I have a lap board or short table underwork & nearly completed in the garage to set the machine on. I will fit snugly between the wooden arms of the chair and be quite handy for extended sessions in two (2) chairs of the same basic design & construction. It say it’s called a lap board for that is what such a thing was known as during the first couple years of college when classrooms & class size was too large for a standard desk. Stadium seats were the norm and the lap board was an inexpensive solution to set across the chair’s arm rests facilitating the process of taking notes.

So I put an artsy twist on the design and will include an image here eventually under the ‘Applied Art’ tab.

Yesterday I found out thru the grapevine since I do not subscribe to the social media trend that there is a holiday sale & show at Tupps this weekend. I inquired and it is filled so closed out for lack of a ‘social media’ profile or ‘presence’.

Oh well. Sucks for me. NO. Not really. I can & will live with the ‘consequences’. The social media ’skills’ are eroding to elimination the socialization skills of the general population I am finding and postulating.

But YOU KNOW that since you are here periodically.

The coordinator, a marginal knit-whit, an artist herself, is big into all of it. I find such advertising ok for some, perhaps even most but for me, it is simply creepy.

I have an instagram account, made one (1) entry and felt soooooo uncomfortable especially when I looked at another site that the next time I went in I took all the settings to ‘private’ mode. It is making my skin crawl RIGHT NOW just thinking about it. I mean it seems like it is all that some people do. Like dare I say an 'addiction' ?

What's next you ask ? That's an easy one ... a new 12-step program.

Good for you, good for them, NOT for me.

So that’s it for now. The disc is over & needs changing and I have taken them to the garage for a session out there while listening to the story. Good stuff.

Now this may be it until D17. There is a seminar tomorrow at Saint Jude’s in Allen, Thursday a haircut in Richardson, the Christmas cards should be ready and needing addressing. I sold 20 of an alternate design so those will need to be shipped.

And on & on & on …

PS: Got a vigorous bike ride in into a very brisk wind on 3 of the 4 legs. The Christmas cards were ready, picked up & the sub-order shipped and more painting. In the later evening, Stars win 3-0 on a Radek Faksa hat trick. How memorable would THAT be ? All well. WS
