Yeah Hi Fans. See the numerical pattern(s) in today’s date? It’s M and it is going to be NOT a good day, but a GREAT one. The sun is rising slowly, I can hear birds chirping loudly & wildly and there is a chill in the castle. A small fire is called for but so is the hot warming breakfast beverage. But that is going to call for a critical decision like everything else. Coffee or tea ?

A great day because S1, former teammate & line mate, aka Br12 & I are going to the Stars V Blues game. We tried to hook-up (connect) on Thursday for the Bolts but he already had plans and Saint Louis has a back story of epic & historic proportions.

WAIT. WHAT HAPPENED WITH YOUR MOM ?

Nancy, you are persistent. Very well.

She is alive, well & resting at home. The story is that she is alive for the same reasons she kept my Dad alive probably longer than he should have. She successfully passed on her knowledge, wisdom and grace under duress down to her children and now grandchildren and thru a team effort she will bake cookies and make dough another day.

Biggest kudos to Robert for being boots on the ground or better said boots in the snow. He had Support x3 from my sister, FB and GrandD/RN and of course Crisis Manager, conductor & Supreme Handler ... your correspondent.

There is no question she well could have died AND people certainly have and worse STILL WILL from the condition she was headed towards but that might be overly dramatic and we do NOT ENGAGE in such nauseating practices here.

WHAT WAS THE CONDITION ?

OMG. Please !!

OK. It was early stages of a UTI, caught early because early symptoms were recognized. If neglected, and things became septic, that’s when people die.

So look up any of that you don’t understand for I must move along to happier & better topics as my feet are getting cold and the sun isn’t rising fast enough.

A number of years ago now when FB & I were returning to Texas from Louisville and a Christmas visit with my sister & b-i-l we camped overnight in St Louis. We planned our arrival to catch the Blues V Dallas Stars that just happened to be in town. And what I time we had. Stars won a laughter 8-2 and we were in the lower bowl cheering, hollering & hooting which was often AND in their building.

OK, so we toned it down when we recognized it was going to be a runaway and we did meet & manage to get friendly with a nice Family sitting next to us. Well, the Dad was cool anyway. He worked at a bank and it was his first time to a game. His wife & daughter gave all appearances to having the DEEPEST DESIRES to be elsewhere.

Ax me sometime because there is MUCH more. Better yet, ax FB for a much MORE embellished but all true version.

S1 wanted to spend $300 for choice seats for the matinee tilt today. I agreed but dutch at his suggestion. Friday morning wore on into early afternoon and I tried to call my Uncle John. I had been trying all week but I had a better reason this day to inform him of my Mom’s little episode. First time busy which was good because I now know he is home. Stay with me & hold this thought. I know it’s difficult …

Then I go about other tasking and revisit the attempt later but this time I use the address book and get the WRONG NUMBER. By chance as the next entry in my address book was Br16 and admitting the slightest degree of embarrassment we decided to TAKE ADVANTAGE and spend a few minutes catching up.

In the interest of abbreviating and gaining some warmth, Br16 is a Stars season ticket holder and computer wizard. He combines these two skills on the fly, finds the two (2) ‘$300 tickets’ at the season ticket holder discounted price and I snagged them. For $250, we got $600 worth of PRIME seats.

How’s that ?

So today we ride. Looking to have a blast with S1 as with FB, celebrate our own March Madness, Mom and looking to make a memory or two. But then again, we already have.

Have a Blessed day. Pray for the poor bastards that can’t or don’t know how AND those that are in need. Thank God for what you have and take comfort knowing that He will provide ALL that you truly NEED. NOT NECESSARILY what YOU WANT. Big diff.
