Saturday morning and I just made the Procrastination Express and the doors closed behind me pinching my … derriere. No harm, no foul just continuing on my lucky run I guess.
The sun rises, laundry is gurgling and the tea is hot, green with lime drops & stevia. Sipping divinely.
Already I washed some dishes clearing the sink and made initial assemblies of materials continuing from yesterday for to prepare in food preparation. Today’s agenda is preservation of asparagus and carrots.
To recap yesterday & last night, Stations of the Cross and straight to the cove for the art exhibit. The Art Club of McKinney had a little show and awarded prizes to members for work. I didn’t know too many people which was fine so I looked around leisurely and headed for home while it was still light.
My friend Carol won a third place for her small textile picture of a pair of cardinals. There were some other pieces cool & interesting. Nice refreshment table available so will I do it tonight again?
Probably not. But perhaps later on the off-chance of bumping into other artist acquaintances. If I decide TO GO, I have seen the art so it would be strictly socialization and that is not my strongest suit.
Leaning more like I should be in the ‘creative’ mood to produce.
I have a number of projects ‘collecting’ at the PAINT operation or getting close. One black-bellied plover IS ready, getting closer are three (3) Achilles tangs (1 life size, 3 half-size (about)). A GWT is close and two (2) BWT I noticed need better depth on the spotted bodies.
I will take a number of painting projects to MS for Easter for some down time activity in lieu of telly or a break from other activities.
That’s a wrap. Under 300 words today. Getting better.
