Friday 18 My 18

Beautiful day, a FRIDAY and the 18th. Talk about a significant alignment AND opportunity. I took liberty this morning for a hot tub session after a therapeutic meal yesterday which I can hear inquiring minds going viral … why?

First & foremost, Silver again is acting up. She spent the night at Ron’s Automotive after the budding fiasco at NTB and still NOT being fixed. I feel much more confident that Ron can find out what’s going on AND make the repairs REASONABLY & Reliably. NTB … no more.

Preston the new pool guy has that system running like a charm. Too bad he doesn’t do cars. So nice, divine, or Heavenly in the morning with sun rising, birds singing, cool air, hot water and a nice coffee just taking it all in & enjoying the moment(s).

Earlier, I set eyes in two (2) shorebird carvings and I got half-way thru the Emperor Angelfish when I dawned on me that the eye socket was too small & needed to be expanded for the eye to fit properly. So that little operation has been added to the list of to-dos for today.

Also, with the Colonial next week, some jardin plans or preps are of the highest priority. I must first harvest and freeze surplus spinach that is ready NOW. Little insects will soon be taking over OR they will bolt to seed OR dry up in the heat.

The lovely lettuce crop will have to survive and another night of tasty shrimp salad will NOT be difficult to deal with. I am thinking some nice white wine tonight and perhaps some bread.

The remaining vegetables & herbs are not of as high risk or concern. Basil loves the sun & heat. It can get dry but not too. Tomatoes same thing. The chards can be positioned near sprinklers or the new drip irrigation system and I am sure will be ok.

The lawn could or should have been mowed yesterday. Toying with the idea of starting now, knocking it out AND pissing of the neighbors but will in all likelihood be overtaken by other tasking.

So as usual, must be scooting.

Much to do, many FUN things and some that MUST BE done. PLUS you just know additional, another or more items will be popping up on the radar as soon as in an instant or momentarily.

For now, I don’t miss Silver but as with everything else, that too will change.
