Sunday morning and Frustration station before 8:00 am. Big plans foiled requiring retool. But first, an escape.

With the 2018 Colonial just around the weekend, preps & plans are all in order so the precious time will not be wasted or SHOULD not but we have sung that song before. Even hummed a few verses when failing or falling behind.

Received a few brief cryptics from Emma. I will fire something off shortly after this one & a second cup of coffee. BTW, still on the prayer list.

In the most local of current events, yours truly used a ‘new social media’ platform late last week and it was very cool when HOWEVER once you break it down and analyze it yet again … why, what for AND what value does it have ? I mean really?

SO WHAT IS IT ?

WhatsApp.

I text a former colleague/coworker & boss, the same person, and they were in a time zone EXACTLY 12 hours different, 9:45 am here was 9:45 pm there.

'Use it' he said.

I got the account set up, it was fairly easy and read or watched the questions that I 'agreed' to all which great trepidation. Then we had the talk and I explored the new ‘tool’ for a few minutes I did not have.

Low & behold it showed me a number of people from my contact book (already sneaky) that are using WhatsApp and I am now AMAZED that people go so … apeshit …over such a thing.

I may or probably never will use it again but the call was very high quality & clear and if this tool gigs or hurts ATT, I am ALL IN.

In other frustrations, I woke with all intentions for a long training ride. At this point in the regimen like last weekend two (2) hours. Got dressed noticing the overcast sky, and set out. BEFORE reaching the end of the driveway I THOUGHT I felt a drop. Up Meadow Ridge and well before Lake Forest, there was without question a light rain just beginning and I did a 180.

Which brings me here.

Last night S1 aka Br12 & I watched Tampa Bay Bolts, my fav, edge his Washington Caps in an extremely good game. Too much pizza & beers had made a long ride today very appealing but another day.

He signed up for a summer league & their first game is today at 2:00 here in McK.

I was going to make a quick trip back in time to Scarborough Faire and still may early and go to his game since it is here in town.

So, I end this report to go on to the next task with this machine. Pay a few bills, correspondences, etc.
