Last evening, well after the sun was on the other side of the fortress walls and it was shadier and a little cooler on the east side of the complex, I used the new edger. It worked well and it got dark quickly and I well knew I would not finish the task in one sitting tonight

I was taking cuttings from St Augustine and moving them in a science experiment that has worked in the past. The slips of St Augie sometimes catch & grow but more often do not. But sometimes they do so it IS worth trying even thou success is low.

I go up early and since the edger has the ultimate muffler I was able to start early and did manage to get quite a bit done in a short window before the bike ride and art meeting early afternoon.

Well, now the ride is done and just waiting for the meeting. Feeling more like a little nap.

Maybe I get this shortie done and have time for a dip in the cement pond before going to referenced meeting. It is warm and I am thinking the heat of the day is here.

After the meeting, I must mow the yard and then I can start packing, staging and loading Silver for the next Houston adventure.

Not exactly sure how I will work in the training ride but taking two (2) bikes and the gear. Also, reading material, art projects and assorted gear as in clothing. So much to do and now I am starting to feel guilty for wasting time on this entry.
