Julio 1
OR 31 Ju (Jn or Je) whichever you prefer to use on the new calendar according to Bill. If you are stuck with the old calendar, you MIGHT be saddened to see June end as I SHOULD be but (NOT) continuing in this manner one gets to PROLONG the greatest month and it seems to shuffle summer slightly so that the mind (?) is taken somewhat off of the warm and marginally uncomfortable days.
Not much time this bright Sunday morning but I felt obliged and had to welcome the new faux month.
This is a newsflash no?
Mass yesterday so I have a large block of time to fill but many, many activities to consume that ‘free time’. This is ALL DAY today and I am sure things will change and I WILL squeeze in some relaxation moments.
Laundry, reading, meeting preps for the upcoming week, carving & painting, cleaning MAY fall the victim as well as meals this day for it is too hot to eat and I am not hungry. Water all plants indoors & outside. A light workout NOT involving the bike.
Speaking of workouts, yesterdays training ride was not good. Schedule called for 104k (65m) and the wind was just brutal.
At about 77k I had to stop and took about a 30 minute nap finding a nice picnic table in the shade. I finished but it took about 5 hours or so and I was whipped the rest of the day.
My weight at rising was 178.0 and after returning home jumping on the scale it registered 168.4. All units here pounds.
All water or fluids. After replenishing a check had it bounced back up up to 174.6.
After Mass I motored down 75 to Richardson with an invite from S1 to watch the RedSox embarrass the Yankees in NY in front of the homeys. What a great game for us to watch. I think it was 10 or 11 to NOTHING.
We had wings, carrots, celery, cherries and beer. Very nice.
OK. That’s it so far for Julio.
Expecting now sparse entries as the rent house has ISSUES burning with the tenant breaking the lease and moving out early. One meeting coming up this week is talk to the accountant to see if continuing renting or selling outright is prudent. One of my staff financial planners informed me that many of their realtor contacts are saying the market is hot and peaking for selling properties.
There you have it.
With a bow.
