THIS IS IT PHANS !! Entry 500 !! OMGosh, do you BELIEVE it already ? Certainly my biographer will have enough material for a number, OK, MORE THAN ONE (1) thriller, action/adventure or love story.
HOLD ON. TWO-OUT-OF-THREE I WOULD BUY BUT THAT LAST ONE ? COME ON … BE SERIOUS.
OK. I can go either way. Soft or hard porn coupled (sorry) with on-line dating disasters and miss adventures of one of McKs most ineligible bachelors. They ALL end tragically.
Moving along, mid-afternoon here and the hot part of the day so laying very low under this cool rock.
Lots of shade under a flat rock.
Good ride this morning. Twenty-four K (15m) in LESS THAN one (1) hour. Lord if I could only MAINTAIN that pace for 6-7 hours without fatigue setting in the HH100 would be a breeze. Any ride I return from now is a good one. Once again tire inflation is huge. HUGE for a fast time.
Speaking of biographers and biography, spent too much time this afternoon finishing up the Edwin Hubble book. Yes, I cried at the end. Like most of us great men, we have faults because we are human. Some of us mask, hide & disguise them cleverly and with much guile. Some not so much.
I was duly impressed with Hubble’s wife Grace and the relationship and marriage they had. She was RIGHT THERE all the time as best friend, confidante and pillar of support, travelling companion.
They simply do NOT make them like that anymore. End of story. I am HERE to testify.
Last night was the monthly adult social at Saint Michael's. I made out like a bandito.
One of the ladies brought tamales and they were HUGE and spicy. There were a few left and she said she wasn’t taking them home and did anyone want them? I politely wrapped two in aluminum foil and got home with five (5).
Then from the bar, a bottle of champagne. I felt bad but Theresa handed it to me and said ‘take it’.
WHAT ? DID YOU TAKE IT ??
She didn't have to tell me twice. Let's leave it at that por favor.
It's CHAMPAGNE !! Free. What kind of MORONOVICH says 'no thanks' to THAT ?
Keep thinking about that ...
The theme was ‘Mexican’ so I bought some ceviche at El Rancho and some spicy tortilla chips to go along with them. I brought a large container of THAT home which is Aok. I think I could eat ceviche a couple of times a week and it looks like I might well be.
OK Fans. It’s been real once again but must dash.
