This is either a lost day OR a BONUS day. Stranded in a sense as it is Monday, aka the day of the long ride however wicked gloomy and unpleasant weather is about to burst forth.

No way four (4+) hours this day on the burning bike seat. I have already developed the regimen work around AND a new revised day Plan as the weather has been looking like it WANTS to do SOMETHING for the last few days and today it is it … severe and in spades. Can I say ‘spades’?

The wind is whipping the trees and of course the wind she howls.

I am good.

I don’t have time but very well.

Over the weekend I made great progress on the Emperor Angelfish. So much so that if I took a picture and posted it, it could pass for done. But maybe 85-94% but definitely closest in a LONG time. That would be a priority. I worked on it all day yesterday and gained significant momentum. AS a commission, I get PAID when I complete & deliver the piece so there is some incentive.

Other painting projects as well are in the que and close enough to be finished with a concentrated effort and quiet sitting session. Today could be that day.

I have a number of stunning bases in the Studio I very close to completion but right now I would have to dance around Silver. Not appealing.

I could take her out of the garage to create space but the way the wind is blowing a branch or the entire tree could come down on her and we don't need that.

WRT the training schedule, I am thinking make up the ride either the OFF day Tuesday or Friday OR I could even switch and move in the short hard 25K (15m) ride so I WILL GET the rides and kms (or miles) in this week and you can take that to the banque. I mean it could dump, pass and clear up this afternoon. That's how I am thinking.

Must remain flexible at all times.

If I need a break, The Last Bookaneer is starting to pick up the pace. One character was described last sitting in a brilliant sentence elegant in brevity and simplicity. ‘He grinned and snickered but rarely smiled’ describing one of the main characters.

I could hook up the new printer.

I could clean.

I think it is time to start PAINTING …
