In the final dregs of 2018, the dead days of the current calendar and even the past calendar of the Maya, I have decided and declared I shall keep such dead days at the end of each year going forward in the calendar according to Bill.

BUT WHY ?

Well Virginia, it’s like this. Look at it as a courtesy to civilization, the human race in general or society collectively. It will be classified as a minor or ‘secondary’ holiday.

WHAT IS THAT AGAIN?

Oh come on. PAY ATTENTION.

In this case it means you don’t have to work, businesses can have the option of closing at their discretion OR opening and ‘business as usual’ in normal or ordinary time. In that sense it is an ‘Individual’ Holiday and if you don’t need to work, you take the time off and enjoy ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. Family, friends, food, booze, drugs at your own risk and otherwise totally independently pursuing Happiness.

That said, if your employer is open AND you need the money and need to work, if you THEN take off and pursuit happiness, lust and gluttony and they consequentially fire you, you MIGHT be a moron OR an idiot. If The Man tells you to work and you don’t, you are at the very least stupid and are in need of an URGENT self-assessment, therapy or perhaps even meds. Depending on the therapist.

Company arrived Thursday and there is a break in the action. Little ones are non-stop energy and these here now require attention. The little fella can and DOES get into ANYTHING and seems to specialize in the ones that are most dangerous OR cause the largest debris field.

At the moment they are gone so my batteries have recharged and they are expected any time as in soonish.

Not sure about a ‘plan’ for supper. I have it semi-covered and can-do but ‘plans’ have suddenly fallen from vogue, been discouraged in favor of ‘ad-hoc’. I find such an attitude self-centered and moderately immature but no one axed me.

It really doesn’t matter. I am here, if they show up, the show will go on.

Kind of crazy I know but forget how it sounds.

It is another day in the life and one day soon to be TOTALLY forgotten.
