HELL-LOOooWWw !?! (echo bouncing 100-1000x). This is Bill, the darkness is overwhelming, the depression IS real and on groundhog day.
In our last adventure, recall the mention of the phone issues just then surfacing from the night before.

So I secured a temporary replacement Friday AM after engaging in some genuine conversation with a knowledgeable sales associate and sincerely pleading my case. IT turned out 'repair' was not an option.

Honey the jury remains out but the short answer RIGHT NOW is not so much as it IS PAINFUL.

Of course. That’s why I fired up zBook here and am pressing these keys furiously so YOU can have a ‘heads ups’ and know what to expect when YOURS goes 'blink' (from yours truly's experience(s)) crossing this bridge over the river Hades.
First some good news or upside(s). Some features, a few but growing and more on this shortly, are better and even as marginal IMPROVEMENTS are ‘good’.
HOWEVER, in the grand scheme of things (GSOT), ALL this is temporary as this phone is more or less a loaner until the replacement arrives as a direct result of the claim filed. Early next week for this to happen so the echoes will continue, as will some of the frustration darkness.

In another small twist of negatory, the insurance will replace with the SAME model G7. Here’s the glitsch. The G10 is coming out 20 F and Luis divulged that when the new models come out, prices drop. T-mobile no longer sells the S7 having made it ‘obsolete’ but apparently the (crooked) insurance people buy from surplus to ‘clear manufacturers inventory’ and resell at a mark-up.
Speculation here but IMHO loosely organized crime OR ‘doing business’ as usual. Take your pick for I am NOT going to argue.
Anyway, by purchasing this t-m brand phone ‘powered by android’ I would have a spare phone, two (2) ‘free’ months of unlimited service by which time my new S7 would have arrived and been set up properly removing all of these current ‘growing pains’. Furthermore…
Furthermore, according to Luis, t-m is running a promotion half-off of a new S10 with trade in of your older WORKING device.
See where this is going? How about the moral of the story ?
Before this promotion ends, I will have received the S7, I trade it in because it is now a working device and get the S10 for half the price. This is a $8-900 phone with ALL the latest, news and fastest features.

Another PRIME example of God working in very mysterious ways AND that it pays to be both honest and forthright when dealing with other people. IOW, The Golden Rule.
So I need to wrap up here as I want to do some actual work work today and make some sawdust, jewelry or/and paint.
One improvement which is significant is the hotspot reliability. Yesterday while posting the f1 entry, checking emails, banking etc not ONE (1) time did I lose the hotspot connection. This NEVER happened for such an extended period of time on the older model S7.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ?
A couple of things if you think about it. First I could save the $ from actual direct annual cost of internet service PLUS accomplish ALL online activity in a MUCH SHORTER period of time saving Time.
Other news and quickly, I am thinking on the new calendar according to Bill a slight modification.
Groundhog day WILL remain as a holiday HOWEVER it will be OBSERVED on the first (1st) Saturday of F. Keeping with ‘tradition’ and until the laggers and slackerts are up to speed with it they (as individuals) will be allowed to celebrate with a cocktail of their favorite rum beverage on F2 the second (2nd) because most are mostly all rummies anyway. I feel kind of confident most of them will abuse it so what's the difference?
Got to drop off here now. Foggy, overcast with a seasonal chill in the air. The Farmers Market is open today until noon so I could make it but I have to hustle.
A second episode of Dragnet is on the Old time radio. I was able to get that set up pairing the Bluetooth speaker and installing the apps with few problems and little delay. Some of the music (IE amazon) passwords were NOT recognized by the new phone so I may just hold off on those. I did have to reset a number of the pw for email accounts. Called PIA.

I must be cautious for I DO NOT want to run over Pecan Hill Phil. Six more weeks of winter !
