Another dreary day has broken here and it being a Monday, and chilly, it seems like the perfect storm. I experienced a great deal of hesitation rolling out this morning and lingered until full daylight had filled the cabin.

The numbers, 12 next to the crib, 14 on the upper deck proper and 13 on the lower deck. The fire was smoldering before turning in last night so I let it go out however the chimney being open you can feel the cold air come down the chimney and cools the lower deck a degree or two. Oh to have this condition or feature in July and August.

There is a function this evening however the needle is leaning towards cancel and not attending. NOT important, more a social event and a ‘potluck’ which means I would have to show up with SOMETHING and then eat something others have brought and the leaning needle is nearly on ‘E’. Not feeling it. I am feeling fresh out of social.

What I SHALL DO today is wood work and artistic projects to build inventory. I was looking at the planning calendar and there are a couple of shows coming up that are in need of some preparation(s). In late April, in this general area and then the first weekend in May in Houston the same a one-day show so a plan and strategy are under development.

Price points and inventory must, MUST be managed carefully so as not to exhaust inventory at the first show for the sake of sub-standard sales at the first show versus the plan of upping the prices at the second show in a far better (IOW ‘affluent’ or new) market.

That’s the thinking at this moment anyway.

So, art work most of the day, some cleaning & laundry (very little), break for tax data compiling and some reading.

OH YOU’RE READING AGAIN ? WHAT IS IT?

A follow-up from Emma jarred my memory. The story is about a group of evolutionary biologists studying ecosystems in and around the Sea of Cortez. I think I bought it at APL liquidation shelves but AFTER buying a large coffee table book with LOTS of pictures and short stories on the Sea of Cortez at the estate sale up the street on the other corner of Pecan Hill Road. I would like to speak with the owner about the ‘story’ behind it but the older couple ‘down-sized’ or so I was told and moved either into a smaller place or some sort of assisted adult living commune.

OK. That’s it and enough for today.

I skipped the workout yesterday so I can do a double this morning. That will warm things up internally I know from experience.
