XL Junius
Well the switchboard has blown up, the email box overfloweth and I even received a smoke signal (local) wanting to know about the lost sieve story from the last report.
Thanks to all the dedicated, paid-up, loyal Fans that sent in ideas for places to search, other possible suspects and to everyone, EVERYONE, I found it without any help from Holmes, Watson or even Jose Viernes.
THE DETAILS POR FAVOR … WAS IT THE RYAN-WHATEVER WOMAN? THE BUTLER ?
Nix.
Upon full daylight (hint), I went outside to the rain collection barrels to get water for the container jardins. There on the top of barrel #1 it rested. Innocently and harmlessly.
Then it all started coming back to me. The circumstances leading to the disappearance.
I took the sieve out to the barrel as I drew out water to see if any mosquito larvae would be filtered out from the collected stored rain water. Finding none after drawing out about 5 gallons, I set the sieve in the non-standard location atop the barrel, went about the watering chore and simply neglected to retrieve and bring the utensil inside.
That’s it.
I retooled the day plan for 39 June and then commenced WITHOUT the stop to Goodwill or Bed, Bath & Beyond for a replacement sieve.
Briefly here now because Procrastination is burning, I had a lengthy list of stops, got to them all.
APL a victory. Returned The Tunnel series 1 & 2 only to search on a lark for A series 3 and actually found it AND it was in so I checked it out. My favorite librarian Cindy DB was at the reference desk so we caught up her giving me answers to pressing questions on some classes and pocs for events scheduled while I MAY Be out of town next month. Like the free sushi course, making a shopping bag, all materials provided.
I stopped in to 518 McK, the HD/orange box and bought a dowel. They did not carry the small screw eyes I needed for a project so at home later I found and ordered them on-line.
I also stopped at Cabela’s while in Allen for some small swivels for the same project so that was great victory.
A quick stop in Office Depot to have sign lettering enlarged to size breaking in a new document copy center lass.
It was so great to get back home for it had grown warm during my outing.
The remainder of the day until supper was spent sipping beer both into and out of the cement pond as it had gotten exceedingly warm.
And THAT is where I am ready to carry on from once again today as soon as I finish the ‘high fiber’ breakfast.
Oh, I got the HIIT 24K (15M) ride in early. A whisker over one (1) hour but once again the safety slows and stops observed, tolerated however annoyingly. Thank you Saint Christopher.
Bill, warmly, out.
