It is that perfect part of a summer day. The ‘sweet spot’.

We are in that wonderful period when the casa is still cool from the overnight ‘free’ electricity and the sun has not come up yet to warm things up. In other words (IOW) still reasonably dark however dawn is gathering light.

Coffee sounds good maybe great but its ALL packaging. ‘Kona BLEND (10%) coconut-chocolate flavored.

I continue to think it is a hoax, fraud or sham as all I taste is ‘coffee.’

It was a great day at the cloud yesterday with many fantastic and significant accomplishments of which I will mention the highest of lights fully cognizant of the fact I will forget at LEAST one (1).

I signed a verbal contract with a local client to drive merchandise to a show/sale in September. Brother I (First) IMMEDIATE issued warning ‘Don’t get caught’ I am ASSUMING he was THINKING ‘contraband.’ Which of course it is not.

The bike shop called and I picked up my bike.

OH, DID THEY FIX THE BROKEN SPOKE?

Hey look Sweetie, I am crunched for time here so hold the Q’s until manana, por favor.

The spoke was an ‘odd’ size ‘special’ ordered from another shop and since it was going to be a couple of days AND my training regimen at risk, I can ride in the meantime without danger and when the part gets in they’ll slap it in. This was thoughtful of them and good customer relations on the part of the shop and how they keep customers loyal.

I stopped at Donnie’s for a chat and some quick work.

I also stopped into Orange Box 518 EMcK. Bumped into Joe who I knew from HD6502. Joe rides and we compared notes on upcoming HH100.

Also in line M. Foley from Raytheon High days. He resigned and went into his own business. I axed him for a card and he ‘didn’t have one with him … in the truck.’ I gave him one of mine but he won’t make contact. No relation to the catheter fortune.

Finally yesterday a rare TRIPLE header. Local town team Rangers were on the radio, on the road in Toronto at noon (eastern zone) and actually won to reach their ‘coveted’ .500 mark. BFD.

Then the DEWDs also on the road in the east zone lost 8-2 to the Fayetteville Woodpeckers. That’s right the Woodies bowed to the Woodpeckers. The woodpecker online store had some cool shirts and the Down East merchandise is so, just so … unspectacular I am thinking about placing a small order for some woodpecker apparel, a cap and refrigerator magnet with their cool logo.

AND I am going to call the Woodies front office and tell them AGAIN to make the ‘Woodies’ t-shirt. This way they can safely say ‘by popular demand.’

The baseball radio evening came to a close with the Frisco roughriders again on the road falling in Corpus Christie to the Hooks 4-2 I think. I was pretty beat by then and the ac was coming on.

The RRs left CC right after the game for a long bus trip to Amarillo for a series against the Sod Poodles. A BUS TRIP !!

Emma, how would you like to push the beverage cart down THAT aisle with a bunch of young 19-34 yo ballplayers? Think you’d get grabbed ??

Must dash off to Mass. Today is a Holy Day & I spoke to Mom last night and she issued me a ‘reminder.’ I am glad she did because I forgot. Must go.

I have two (2) couches and have slept on my love seat !!

The more I am listening to Beck the more I see his genius and high level of talent.
