8:30 ALL DAY 2019
August is nearly behind us so tomorrow being Saturday AND the last day of the month, I am thinking this is it until September and with the Holiday neither promises nor pledges shall I make.
In fact, with the way I have been living of late, act, behave or conduct yourself(ves) as though TODAY may be IT. The Last Day.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ?
Just as in finishing the training program for the HH100 and doing the Long Ride, I mentioned to someone that EVERYTIME before starting a training ride OR early on in the ride, a prayer to Saint Christopher for a safe return is in order.
With all the idiots outside wondering around (IOWA) and some even granted licenses to drive I feel anywhere from extremely Blessed or fortunate to arrive back at the starting point in one (1) piece and unbloodied and broken. Same process.
I was ‘working’ at the gallery this week when a young artist came in and ‘shared’ her health problem and it got me to thinking how well I have it with excellent health, a sound mind and a tight, small circle of trusted Family and Friends.
OH GRACIOUS … YOU’VE GOT ME TEARING UP.
Not intended.
I’m signing off as you, the reader, are not following along and clearly not getting it today.
Besides, I have a laundry list of things to do today, a Friday, the weekend is here and it should be a LONG one. Hang out the flag, laundry and lawn.
With art shows just over the horizon I am so busy, busy and more busy.
The summer heat has broken and the water temperature in the cement pond has cooled dramatically.
Last night I was pondering the new employment gig presented by Richard and I THINK I see a marvelous opportunity for Yours truly.
OH WHAT IS IT? SHARE POR FAVOR …
Not now.
I have more important things to do and items to address.
Perhaps next time if your dues are paid up and you made good on your pledge.
Perhaps.
