Sunday, ‘Grandparents day’, 2019

Well I did two (dos, 2) things today. ALL day. I went to Mass in the early AM and then worked ALL the rest of the day on various projects in support of the show NEXT weekend.

I can’t even begin to lie telling how many projects I worked on. I didn’t actually finish any but moved a lot closer on a few with a couple more days before staging, packing and loading begins.

What is so sad from my perspective is I really, REALLY wanted to go for a bike ride this morning. A longer ride as the weight is slipping back from wherever it was lost.

I got into the cement pond a few times as breaks and the water is absolutely smashing. Refreshingly cool. It was beastly hot otherwise on the deck but observing the shadows creep across the pond as the day wears on will be cooling the water a little bit each day.

SO BILL, WILL GRANDPARENTS DAY MAKE THE NEW CALENDAR? IT SEEMS IT SHOULD BECAUSE YOU ARE AFTERALL A GRANDPARENT.

You’re right but it won’t be ‘Grandparents day’ as currently observed or celebrated.

WHHAA ?

You heard me.

As it sits it is one of those ‘made for profit’ holidays. On the NCAB, there will be one day per month designated ‘Elders day’.

AND HOW WILL IT BE CELEBRATE?

Since it is a ‘h’ vrs ‘H’ holiday, work is optional. Those that wish to celebrate can do so righteously by showing respect and a good time to ANY elder. Not just a Grandma or Grampa. Take them to lunch, have them tell stories of the ‘good old days’, opportunities missed and loves lost. Most really like this chance to open up and if a happy hour or cocktails are engaged, a two-shot limit will be enforced.

That’s two (2) drinks as we can’t have all these REAL old pharts getting gassed and making fools of them selves. Think 'incontenance.'

That’s it.

Watching In Darkness now for the FOURTH (4th) time after nodding and dozing off again last night. I missed so much between Take one and Take two it CAN’T hurt to watch it again.

The plan is to blog, paint fish, have some ice cream and floss to make it to the end

I think I can do it this time.

Tomorrow I must call and follow up with T-MOBILE on the pestering and harassing phone hack. The calls ARE blocked but somehow the call goes to vmm and records a goofy message. Yesterday and today over 100 calls (103). This MUST stop. Going on three (3) months and they claim they cannot stop it.

Well, this morning I located the number and business it is coming from so someone is going after

them and that someone is going to pay. Someone is RESPONSIBLE for that number, they will be held accountable and I WILL BE compensated for my time, annoyance and inconvenience.

OK. I must now dash. Touching up a couple of fish and then feathers on six (6) new shorebirds.
