The Second M
I started this report earlier today and it was returned by the editor/sensor. It’s been some white water the last 48 hours however the first failure to launch WAS recorded and filed as a short story. A nifty shorty of less that 300 words.
HOW CAN I GET A COPY OR READ THIS PIECE OF LITERARY EXCELLENCE?
Why Thank you Ms Bold Caps.
You have two (2) options here. You can wait for the book of complete book of such shorties OR send in money in the form of renewed membership or al a carte fro $500.
WHY SO MUCH?
It’s restricted for a reason. The story without question would or WILL BE offensive to the feebly sensitive members of the herd.
Quite simple actually. Limited access for YOUR protection but MOST importantly mine especially and specifially the reputation
A trip to APL has been scheduled for returns and/or exchanges. I finished Season I of Hinterland and found it worthy and deserving of the high ratings it has received on the jacket.
GOT TIME FOR A REVIEW?
Not really. Not the Full Monty.
A shorty tho.
The first episode was like that drink of orange juice immediately after brushing ones teeth.
IOW SOUR?
Yes indeed.
However, the other three (3) episodes were like mini-movies and riveting. The story and characters are dark and truly a drama in every sense. The casting people deserve mention as well as the actors are well suited and fit respective roles perfectly. The scenery and photography I thought at first was overdone but there the setting is Wales and lingering on the hills, sea and small quaint village settings became quite charming and a fast armchair (ok RECLINER) excursion thru that region.
I’ll give it three (3) thumbs ALL UP.
Wild Swine activity is a second level contact from the initial contact call on Friday. I have decide to change tact slightly and work WITHIN an existing system.
EXPLAIN BRIEFLY BITTE. I HAVE A FLOSSING SUPPORT GROUP MEETING.
Sure. Happy to, no, THRILLED to oblige.
Some WIld Swine back story from Friday first. I struck out at Texas DoA. The front or first line phone guard was good giving out phone numbers or referring but REAL helpful information not so much. So THEN I went to the state Dept of Agriculture website where I got some excellent intel in a shocking change of events.
The trail took me to another phone number which I called next. The branch for this agency is affiliated with a large state U AND has a Collin County branch office right here in McK. (!!)
The portal guard this time was most helpful and told me the person I needed to speak with was out of the office for a meeting but she accommodated and informed me he would be back in the office today and the best time for me to catch him which I noted AND set an alarm so as NOT to miss.
As a side bar, I found a phone number for the World Bank in DC and their International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The first operator was of little help referred call a second ‘assistant’ who I APPARENTLY interrupted from a nap or caught immediately after lunch as she was foul, short and really misplaced speaking to ‘customers.’ I wrote this option and organization off for the time being but could reviist later.
I continued more work on projects. The Watching the Shore series is moving splendidly working different paintings in different stages none to completion but progress on all.
Check that. WS.2 was completed by some final painting touches softening colors of the sand in the foreground.
This is kind of important as later this morning it is going to photographed for a submittal of work, City of Frisco’s Atrium 2020 the deadline for which is TOMORROW. I submitted to this event last year and didn’t make it but I am much more confident and optimistic this year. By the time the jury reviews and informs successful artists, I SHOULD have .4 completed which is TWICE the size AND I can give them the option of the larger or smaller picture. Pretty cool I think.
I WON’T HESITATE. THAT IS BRILLIANT.
(insert smiley face)
It can’t be accepted until it is submitted and after tomorrow it won’t make any difference so the time to strike is NOW.
Having multiple versions in process is going to be a HUGE advantage with regards to timing.
This FIRST one will be hanging from April until September AND could be sold during that time.
In the MEANTIME, I know I will finish MORE THAN ONE for shows between now and the end of the show. PLUS, if the one on display DOES sell, the artist has the OPTION to move it AND REPLACE with another piece which I can or COULD do and by that time finish a THIRD in a rush especially if a sale is involved.
So there you have it Fans.
Have a groovy day.
Think vinyl as in record with either many multiple grooves OR one long and continuous GROOVE.
