Dia de la concepcion
A Holiday on the new calendar and consequently I am taking the ENTIRE day off, a Friday no less, to do exactly what I want to do in a celebratory way.
WAIT A COTTON PICKING MINUTE. YOU DO THAT EVERY DAY OGO.
No I don’t. It only SEEMS to be that way to casual observers from a distance.
Anyway, I could not let the opportunity of this day slip and MUST address a number of issues as well as bringing the dues paying, card carrying citizens who have religiously been keeping up with pledges during the awful, horrific and terrible time.
Yesterday I went up to Sherman and had an absolute blast. The full photojournalistic account suitable for NatGeo will be available on the subscription side of the house.
OH GOODIE AND WHEN WILL THAT BE AVAILABLE?
Soon.
So my two (2) favorite teams will be battling it out for Lord Stanley’s cup starting Saturday I think I heard.
WHAT COLORS WILL YOU BE WEARING?
Oh green for sure. The local team for longer that the bolt blue.
I worked in Tampa one year when the team was bad and then one could get great seats for reasonable. They had some good players but were building. I went back for a playoff game the year they won beating Calgary. The Finals are simply put electric.
I am within the one (1) week window of playing the Colonial CC so practicing now is a daily event.
Gotten now to looking forward to each session as consistency is returning and the ‘B’ game is showing signs of morphing into the ‘A’ game. Being excited to play and having confidence building is a feeling few could understand and thus I am quietly enjoying as the moment is righteous.
RIGHTEOUS?
Well, it feels good and as time passes, one (THIS ONE (1)) takes such things completely and TOTALLY when such things happen.
That’s about all I have time for today as I must clean up and wash off the night so as to start this grande day fresh. Must address shopping for supplies, some art business activities and of course time on the range.
Next time maybe some highlights of the day trip to Sherman. Perhaps.
I was amusing myself on the way home IF Sherman could or would be a Sister City to Peabody, Mass it would be Sherman and Peabody and in between would be the Wayback as in Outback.
FACTOID: DID you know there actually was a supercomputer named the wayback? Actually WEBEC.
Look it up.
See what you can learn here?
