Turns out it wasn’t that bad there but they typically get colder blasts being on the high plains so they have things in place and are not likely to 'panic'. She did have a couple of stories and as usual the note was well-written.

APPARENTLY there was a run and panic buying on pierogies during the storm. I HAVE a coupon from Mrs. T and have now checked local K-Roget TWICE and the shelf is still empty. I’m good for now because the coupon expires 7 M and IFFEN I have to I will apply for a rain check. I sure hope Mrs. T is OK.

After a couple of days where I was able to squeeze in a ride, today is under the comfort threshold.
I still have a couple of days to finish removing the final roots of the chinese pistache tree. Yesterday Rickster with truck and I rented a cool tool from The Home Depot and had a BLAST at my place first and a smaller tasking at his house. I am a little sore but it was so much fun … the NOISE, VIBRATIONS and power making short work of that God-awful stump.
The schedule calls for the stump out in F and replace with the transplant tree, Gingko biloba (male), in early March (M) which now is right around the corner aka THIS ‘weekend’.
Must call Rodney at the tree farm to coordinate pickup and planting specifics and details.
