Apologies for lengthy delays in between reports Fam, fans & followers. Same set of standard excuses but toss in the Holiday for good measure.

So it’s Sunday morning, very quiet and still. I woke up just feeling like the time was right.

The advantage of such a hiatus is I do have surplus material and could expound on a number of considerably different storylines but I think I shall simply press forward and see what falls out.

Emma checked in for a lively discussion on her assignment which you will recall was on synesthesia. Topics for discussion and further research are exercises to try and develop synesthesia.

How cool would that be to actually have an affliction and tell someone you have it and see what they say? Watch for the Look of Ignorance and read their mind as in IDK? What do you come back with as a response? How about this …

‘Well, it’s like the 60’s being on acid but you’re not. It’s different. Not fatal nor contagious and don’t even THINK of a vaccine. It is just something we syns learn to live with.'

We can refer to ourselves as ‘syns’ individually OR collectively as ‘synners’.

THAT IS SO BAD. WHAT ABOUT THANKSGIVING ?

I got a ‘free’ turkey. But I had to spend $100 at local Winco. I saw the offer on a supply run, READ ALL the fine print, made TWO (2) additional scouting recons to confirm prices on the list before pulling the trigger and got a 20.76 pounder.

While there I dug thru the ENTIRE large holding pen for the poor unfortunate frozen bastards and then helped an elderly lady locate another large one. I told her I looked long to find mine and we finally axed for assistance. The ‘customer service’ peeps were well-intentioned however only half a click above even being helpful. We ended up back at the pen digging and flipping until frostbite was about to set in but near the bottom I found one.

DID YOU GET A NAME OR PHONE NUMBER?

Short answer, no.

It was my 'good deed' for the day.

Yesterday I finished final processing and today will finish FINAL cleanups.

In the freezer are packets of light & dark meat, containers of turkey stock and some cranberry sauce. I made my own cbs however it goes a long (LONG) way.

I also harvested the day before the first overnight frost the last of the estate-grown red bell peppers. I stuffed them with some ground buffalo (tatonka) I happened to find in the deep freeze and wild long grain brown rice. I had a full abundance of the stuffing left so I ran to K. Roget for a ball of cabbage leaves and made gulumpki, (iffen you're Polish) or halupki as referred to around our house growing up.

This necessitated an emergency call to Mom as getting the leaves off for wrappers was an uncertain variable. Well, I got the procedure but failed (only slightly) in the execution. There is a trick and I will work on it NEXT TIME.

For now I have quick HIGH-QUALITY MREs as rapidly as they can be thawed so All Good.

During the time away I did manage to make some executive decisions. I decided AGAINST the Holiday bazaar next weekend in McK. Tilting the scales were outdoors, one day (5-6 hours), setting up the tent AND the iffy chance of icky weather. NOT a formula for fun in spite of the history and convenience of being a local show. I declined with regrets saying I was going to favor and prefer more indoor venues going forward.

Instead of this event I spoke to FB about alternatives & options. They are keen on setting up a smallish table at local Farmers market there in Spring so the new & improved Plan is to motor down with some small modestly priced items before Christmas and let FB & FBnextgen have some fun with it. I have a price list started to make it all very easy for them and of course they will get the lion’s share of the proceeds.

After this little adventure next will be getting things ready for the exhibit at the gallery in Corpus Christi. The end of February will get here soon enough and there are muchos issues to address the largest being logistics THEN the actual pieces to display.

They have pedestals for 12, spares in the event of sales (? … I LIKE that …) and NOTHING that hangs on a wall for hanging space is very limited as in none which I get and can work around.

I have noticed and am NOTING a disturbing trend. Regarding outdoor lighting, the neighbors are all wonky with it. Of course with Christmas and associated outdoor decorations and lighting the situation and understanding are slightly biased however the amount of ‘ambient’ outdoor light making it thru my windows into the sleeping compartment is astounding. If I wake up in the night this ‘overflow of light' keeps one from kicking something in the dark.

As I was pondering this phenomenon I came to the conclusion that these neighbors are basically insecure or otherwise afraid of the dark. Case closed.

Just another pet peeve to add to the list that your correspondent has learned to live with. Not that I like it mind you and certainly not as criminal as making unannounced lane changes in a motorized vehicle however a statement on the human condition and state of our society in general.

Speaking of REAL pet peeves, the announcement of local HOA dues has been received. Guess what?

THEY HAVE GONE UP AGAIN. (??)

You are a clairvoyant.

The arrogant BASTARDS are yet another form of do-nothing government, spreading propaganda and feeding the flock BULLSHIT thru an IV.

We’re I so inclined, not so busy AND had an assault rifle, Kevlar tunic & trousers along with other suitable tools for a terroristic attack, I would love, love LOVE to see the HOA office ruins smoldering. At that time I would go over and wet the hot spots with fresh urine.

I got to go.

As I mentioned to Emma, when things get to potty humor, it’s time for paperwork and wrap it up.

Remember as we near year end your dues are due.

I am not making it as an artist now and prospects for a successful career change to writing is fading as well.

AND I gots to keep these entitled HOA Nazi elitists offen my arse. Their dues are due.
