8 12 20

Same thing. Not sure the numerical relationship between the numbers designating this day however one has to start somewhere as I struggle with the approaching Christmas holiday.

The image today is my new Friend (for 2020) Glen posing in front of the 800-year old post oak tree on his property site undisclosed for security and privacy. I’ll close with a second shot sans Glen in an effort to impress upon the reader the size of this magnificent and majestic old tree. Staggering to think it was growing there, in that same spot when Columbus the explorer got here.

So Donnie and I drove up to Glen’s to look at wood and escape dusty, cluttered workshops and a change of pace. Poor Donnie was beside himself and I thought we were going to have to call for Depends when we walked into the Glen’s shop and looked at the equipment, machinery and collections of tools and materials.

Donnie ended up buying some wood and Glen graciously tossed some in. I got a small piece from Donnie after dropping him off. I had my eye on it and when he offered, I got it.

A beautiful day has begun and the sun shines brightly as a playlist runs thru of Bill’s Best so no lemons or commercial interruptions.

A definite plan has not formed as yet however the high today is set for near 21 so some spa time and a bike rike (overdue BTW) both have bumped up passing Christmas activities, processing carrots and artistic adventures.

From time to time I think and wonder about the jury being still out on WWFA but stop quickly knowing the decision will be made this week and I along with the other artistic hopefuls will receive the notification on Friday. I am prepared either way.

So you guessed it.

Today’s entry is from Procrastination station and as one J Cash one lyriked, ‘I hear that train a comin’ …’

All aboard
