Ate Eleven Twenty-one

Happy Saint Clare’s day everyone. That’s right and you heard me correctly today is the Feast of Saint Clare. Patron saint for goldsmiths, laundry, good weather, ESP and tv among others. I CANNOT, could not OR would not make this up.

She formed an order known today as the Poor Clares and was one of the first followers of Saint Francis of Assisi.

There you have it. Thanks for checking in.

Another busy day is on the docket. Up early, a breakfast/coffee meeting or briefing/consultation downtown at 0830 and just waiting for it to bees light enough to squeeze in a 24K HIIT ride before.

I brought into Studio B the live-edge shelf pieces for layout and positioning. One has to look at these boards most carefully and critically at this point.

LIKE WHAT? YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS …

The good side is down first, which end will need to be trimmed and how much trimmed off for starters.

I GUESS IT DOESN’T GET ANY EASIER.

That’s one of the more sensible statements to come out of your mouth … EVER.

It will be easier NEXT time when this is done as this is a one-time only tasking. Once this set is finito, I won’t have to build them again.

Here’s the irony of the situation.

I will neither need them of use them for the next upcoming show late September however they are a must and critical for the show in October in Galveston. And I would expect in the next year when the shows hit the road for greater distances they will be used at nearly every event.

So it is important to take some time, be cautious and careful for you get one shot. I do not want to drill second (or more) holes or make ‘bad cuts’. Measure (aka PLAN) twice and cut once. Rule of Thumbs.

Other than that, continue working on the ArtOBERfest website material for the ‘virtual’ aspect’ for that show. This is in a late planning stage however the show organizers have done a great job to make the process as easy and intuitive as possible. The REALLY cool aspect is that it is like a store or shop to facilitate online browsing and shopping leading up to and (I THINK) even after the event.

I am thinking that incorporating this format and data into my own online shop or store is a short quick step. I mean who said that the wheel needed to be reinvented each and every day?

OK Fans it’s starting to lighten up outside and I need to jump into the saddle for a little less than an hour.

Toots…
