Cinco de Mayo 2021

Happy Cinco de Mayo EVERYONE !! The ONLY reason I am putting fingers to keyboard this day is THEE Holiday.

Last evenings Cinco de Mayo eve party was subdued because it was only a Tuesday and who celebrates on a Tuesday? Not I. Very often but will or would under different circumstances.

Because it was a non-traditional ‘celebratory’ day, instead of ‘eve’ me thinks in such cases or circumstances we will refer to it simply as ‘quattro de Mayo’ and NOT 'cinco de mayo eve'.

I had a huge day yesterday Thanks for asking.

I re-shoed Silver as ALL FOUR (4) tires were showing the wear bars. James took good care of me at local NTB.

Traveled down TX75 to Richardson for a haircut. The ‘homeless’ look is gone TEMPORARILY’. It will be back.

I had a very good-to-great session with a retention specialist from my carrier. I was on hold 46:37 and when I finally connected with Debbie it was worth the wait.

We reviewed all of my policies with them and she got me THEE best policy(ies) for my money.

While she was doing this in the background we were chatting pleasantly and we learned so much about one another I was ready to put a hit on her and pop the question.

DO YOU HAVE TIME FOR SOME EXAMPLES POR FAVOR?

Divorced, takes care as in checks and looks in on her 78 yo Father who was an accountant (CPA) and still remains active with a few clients. Two (2) grown children one of each flavor. We shared similar opinions and thoughts on the c-19 vaccination, media hype and distain for social media.

She came across as totally sane, extremely well-grounded and charmingly dull & boring.

She has only one kidney donating one to a young nephew and spends time every morning on the treadmill.

Loves her job and candidly divulged tips on ‘towing & roadside services.’ She sent forms for electronic signature(s) and I thought MAYBE some contact info would be hidden therein but alas there was none.

So Debbie remains out there, somewhere in Western Pennsylvania, a fond memory and perhaps an unfortunate could have been.

C’est la vie.

Such is my life.
