Day II Masters 4/9/21

Taking a break while crazy multi-tasking and likely the first of many such breaks.

WHY?

Yesterday after a great deal of consternation I sorted out and was able to watch the actual LIVE Masters coverage I was wanting. It was an effort and I was ‘baited’ into a ‘free trial’ from the pricks & sobs from amazon (prime via their ‘new’ service paramount+) and I simply CANNOT endorse same and will cancel later today.

WHY?

Aren’t YOU in FULL therapist mode?

It was an outright lie, scam and sham. It was idiotic talking heads who it was apparent early on knew nothing about the game, history or traditions and babbled on and on about ‘fantasy schemes' and such nonsense as social media.

I found that watching live on line was available free AND with no charge(s) and was able to run the sound signal thru the sound bar of the telly so I could work and like listen to the action (think ‘radio’) and if something happened glance over to the nearby laptop monitor and Fans, it was marvy.

Think nirvana.

I was able to mute the drivel with one quick touch on both devices and was able to work in fine style.

Also yesterday, received notification of acceptance to participate in the 2021 Spring Art Show at Market Street in the Woodlands. This was a great one day show the last time which is I don’t recall when but it is so well organized and run it was a delight to participate AND sales were brisk and steady, Patrons for the most part much fun and the vvenue was superb.

Late night last I finished processing the pineapple-coconut-rum conserve and jam and this will be a winner. The sealing rate of the jars was 15 for 15 and I badly calculated the volume versus material(s) and had to make a late run to K-Roget for lids. Then needed only two (2).

It set me back time wise but I wrapped up just before 1:00 am. The cleanup is only one of the many multi-tasking activities on the dance card going on NOW between breaks.

Working on painting Qt.2 & .5 to have ready to sell at Second Saturday in McK tomorrow.

Also, I will be doing Bloomdango 24 A at the Chambersville tree farm in McK whicih will be the third (3rd) show in five (5) weeks so with a little luck I will be rolling in dough.

A thunder storm is rolling in which was unforecasted so the regular weather woman must be on holiday.

IF the weather is not perfect tomorrow I won’t even go to set up.

Time to pick up a paint brush and get the two queen triggerfish to completeion.

HEY, DID YOU FORGET THE MASTERS RECAP?

Justin Rose is leading and I have an image with him from Colonial and recent history. He started in the first group off this morning in an odd move so seeing a lot of him early. Phil is out on teh course and struggling. Tommy Fleetwood needs a haircut and needs to get out of the(19)70’s.

Matt Kuchar (aka coooch) is off to a decent start but already too far back and needs a strong charge and sustained effort to contend. I am thinking coooch can't do it, will fade or come back the the herd.

There is one (1) HUGE bullfrog that I can hear croaking in the background from Augusta from time to time. It is hilarious. The social media platforms would be buzzing and going CRAZY and the frog would be viral sensation. I am so glad that those idiots are not polluting the broadcast or the tournament.

A siren from an emergency vehicle screams in the background. I hope no one stepped on the frog.

Fleetwood makes a birdie.

Scores are getting good as a few players are starting to make moves as more players begin their rounds. This is THEE day Fans for TRUE FANS such as myself for it simply cannot get better than this.

And there IS the frog.

Thank you God. The bullfrog of Augusta is a rock star and now has a following of at least one (1).
