Flag day 2021

Waiting for something to happen wondering exactly how to deal with Flag day on the new calendar.

WHAT’S THE PROBLEM? MAKE IT 14 JUNE AND MOVE ON. (?)

Were it that SIMPLE, certainly. But one must be crafty at all times.

I am thinking that rather than upset or offend the Prideful sector(s) of our society, I will assign the idea to a loaded (packed ?) committee for either a slow death OR come up with something new, novel and distinct that will blow everyone and all opposition away.

LIKE HOW?

IDK. I would rather not mention anything for fear of throwing off the committee.

Very well. We make the 14th day of each month a ‘semi-Holiday’, observance optional, and make it a day of Respect for the Flag and National Pride and NOT bullshit pride ala LBGQWERT+.

I got the 40K ride in today w/o incident. I feel a little tired but expect to rebound better, faster and quicker than Saturday.

This is an indicator what kind of condition one is in the ‘recovery time.’

So that is getting better.

Company coming tomorrow and still waiting to hear from jury for ARToberFEST.

I was planning on attending the McKinney Creative Community meeting, potluck and social tonight but decided to forget about it. I was considering migrating back into that fold but now not feeling it so much or better AT ALL.

It has warmed considerably and quality time in the cement pond is a pure joy. With the grandees arriving tomorrow we should be in for high times and misdemeanors.

New dish coming out … BLT sliders. I bought some thick bacon, hickory smoked and cut it into pieces before cooking. One piece per baguette pair, a slice of fresh tomato because they are, some lettuce or sprouts with some high-test mayo and BAM!!
