Holy Thursday
Today begins the climax of Holy week and this is the night of the Last Supper leading up to the crucifixion and Resurrection. Many people loosely labeled ‘Christians’ for convenience in these Islamophobic times are losing this important fact.
I am wondering if a survey regarding the Last Supper would yield any confirmation or validation of the ever-growing ignorance to such things (?). Like would the interviewee RECOGNIZE the picture and would they be able to EXPLAIN ANY of it.
GOOD QUESTIONS.
O Eye no.
I had a stellar day yesterday and I am looking for more of the same today but in a more somber vain due to the significance and the importance of the religious Holiday.
Victories sure enough. I was feeling down about the condition and appearance of the cement pond and Preston stopped around, took the heater out of the circuit and now the water can circulate without routing thru the heater which YOU may say ‘big deal’ however it is a HUGE Deal.
The water quickly lost the Saint Patrick shades of green which BTW eventually when it warmed would have flipped to a mosquito megalopolis.
You and I CANNOT believe what a load that is offen my mind.
Elsewhere, Grant’s memoirs (and SELECTED letters) came up for the third (3) automatic renewal which caused me to motivate to action.
I took the book into local Half-priced books (HPB) and they didn’t have one BUT another store in NoTx did and they ordered it. It arrived yesterday so now I can take my time and lose all the guilt.
See what I mean about God working little 'miracles' as 'mysteries' and 'good things?
LIKE SOMEONE ELSE IS WAITING TO READ SOMETHING OF SUCH MARATHON LENGTH.
O Eye no.
There are a total of LXX (70) chapters and I just finished 600 pages, ch LVII (57) so the end IS approaching. And that’s right, the chapter numbers are Roman numerals.
SO WHERE IS THE ACCOUNT CHRONOLOGICALY THEN?
Where did you stumble across a word like that? I am impressed.
STOP BEING MEAN.
Another light moment from the Lone Ranger.
Two cowboys sitting in a saloon looking out on the dusty street on the July afternoon.
Pedro, the first one, complains how hot it is.
Pete, the second one, says ‘I’m glad you mentioned that. I thought it was below zero.’
Isn’t that rich?
AH, NO. NOT REALLY.
Well, you had to be here. Maybe I am just dealing with ptsd from the extended sub-freezing spell of this year and fresh memories.
No report tomorrow Good Friday.
I THOUGHT EVERY FRIDAY WAS GOOD?
It is but this one gets caps and is a somber day so deep reflection(s) can occur.
Out of respect, no report.
Doing a mission the next few days so no alarms, calls or cards por favor. This is a paying gig and a semi-annual ‘event’ so if you don’t here flatulence by say Tuesday, THEN send a quick flash, rock or smoke signal.
Ut maneat vobiscum in pace Dei
