MMXXI First/ J 2
Houston the cormorant has landed . New day, New Year and welcome aboard. Awoke fairly early and had just enough free electricity to get about 30 minutes of painting in on the next painting.
I THOUGHT YOU DIDN’T PAINT AFTER DARK? OR WAS IT UNDER ARTIFICAL LIGHT CONDITIONS??
What a memory and what a moron. If you EVER expect to be awarded even the basic Associates degree here at this institution you have to OR MUST be able to change and make a change to such things when the force, the power or the INSPIRATION so dictates.
This was one of those occasions.
Very excited about this project and it certainly has some momentum.
OO LALA. TELL US MORE POR FAVOR …
I’d be glad to.
It’s a 12 x 24 panel on a deep weathered wood frame. The first LARGER underwater scene and it takes the previous 12 x 18 with the standalone feature and a couple of platforms to the next level with one long continuous shelf that extends well beyond both sides of the painting panel. At this moment the water is rough shades or color(s) mostly blues as the others and it looks good. I am thinking it COULD BE wrapped up fairly quickly.
At 4:57 am I am thinking these things are going to SKYROCKET in price and value when they hit the market.
I am thinking further I need to stoke the fires with the social media and marketing director to let one test the waters (sorry) with an on-line auction.
BRILLIANT!!
Por favor tell me something I DON’T KNOW …
It seems that I am falling behind schedule with posts and reports.
There are multiple projects starting to bubble and boil and not just artistic. There were a couple of writing projects, great ideas, that require some attention to jot down and document as reminders so they can be filled in later.
Also, I am doing preliminary intel and logistics gathering for a show in October which demands a trip to Galveston. There is a shop there I have made initial contact with and I need to follow up before a visit.
So Fans just hang in there and with me. The New Year is off to a good roll and just got to ride it out.
There is no destination.
Just go and enjoy the ride.
