7 - 11

How can one pass up an opportunity to post up something, ANYTHING, on such a significant day? I mean ‘Oh Thank Heaven …’

I suppose I could do a search on ‘This day in History’ or Who was born (or died) on this date’ but maybe later. BTW speaking of such, Happy Birthday yesterday to Nikola Tesla. He won’t mind belated wishes.

Sunday was a great day. The weather pattern was IDENTICAL to the Greek Islands so that is EXACTLY where I teleported (pretended) I was.

The occasional dip in the cool clear waters of the Mediterranean, napping in the shade and when I could get the attention of the staff summon a cold refreshing beverage. A little fresh seafood right from the boat with lots of local lemon, garlic and pasta. Simple but light and elegante.

I did the first GDR (graduated distance ride) from the schedule done early Saturday morning. The conditions were

brutal as the morning rolled on and traffic once again became problematic.

Lesson Learned: As always, one LEARNS something every time out to improve the process. I am thinking next week ride Sunday morning, early, first to the killing fields, rack up the kms and then migrate back to the circuit block closer to the casa to finish off the distance. I didn’t realize the value provided by the shade of the trees nor appreciate it like I did Saturday late and near the end of the ride.

I made two (2) scheduled stops one at 50k (53 actually) and at 80 I used a banos break or stop, took on some fluids and took a short nap on a picnic table in the shade before finishing.

I mentioned it was brutal as the day warmed and no sense doing permanent harm as it was the first time for a long distance endurance ride this season. It will improve next weekend for sure for that’s how it is.

I rounded out Sunday activities with domestic abuse aka cleaning, lawn and plants. The blueberry jam was a success. One jar for the first time did not seal completely and properly and I discovered an absolutely brilliant use for that jar.

CAN YOU SHARE IT FOR FREE?

Yes but not for long.

I found a popsicle mold and I mixed in a blender a couple of spoons of the conserve (jam if you're truly following along at home) with silk almond milk. The REALLY good part is this is only the beginning.

While idly surfing on line watching mindless short videos I found and LEARNED how to make ice cream in a mason jar. Common ingredients, quick and simple. I am thinking now I have arrived and quite at home in nirvana.

Any and ALL flavors can and WILL go into Bill’s small batch estate only PREMIUM ice cream.

Imagine just the possibilities Ms Bold Capps.

OK. I’LL BITE. LIKE WHAT PRAY TELL DO YOU INVISION? POR FAVOR?

Just a few if you don’t mind. For now anyway. That puke of a stalker who is hacking my account(s) will run with these ideas for sure.

How does this sound?

An almond, bourbon peach flavor?

OMGOSH!! I JUST RIPPED MY TOP OFF … MORE …

I like it when you beg.

Coconut, pineapple (estate grown) and bourbon ?

I’M SEEING A PATTERN …

Not just any bourbon, Maker’s Mark of course.

I have to schedule the first batch this week and will post up.

Running on fumes now … suddenly ...

How about this …The BEST government money can buy …

This drunken dingbat is actually third, THIRD, in line to LEAD OUR COUNTRY. Many zombies walking around do NOT know this. She is a cheat and her other half is a drunk driver arrested in Cali's wonderful Napa Valley. Thank you voters & citizens of California.

At the last bored meeting of the Wicked Strong foundation it was SUGGESTED that sponsorships COULD BE the answer and salvation of this vehicle. Selling ads and the whole ‘promoting & promotion-thing’ goes against my personal grain however turning a PROFIT certainly does not si I have to listen AND consider this issue.

I can say that one (1) POTENTIAL sponsor has been approached, screened and deemed worthy. Negotiations should start informally Pat after the next bored meeting.

Iffen you can’t wait to get started, reach out for the initial thoughts and the strawman results of brainstorming session.

Got to run. Time for the 11:38 dip. Finish the last of the coffee in the Med Sea and HOPE the staff is now up for the ‘first call’ for early afternoon adult refreshment.
