Twelve May

May not. This episode is going to focus on S1 whose monthly holiday observance is today. In his honor, with grace and respect, this account starts now.

Br12 (Bd12 later known as) continues to make a remarkable recovery from December tbi. The down side is that progress is excrutiatingly slow. One time progress bowls you over and blows you away and the next minute he simply doesn't know or forgets. Up and down x1000.

I was going thru some old Bladerunner hockey material and found a folder of the 2011/12 Fall/Winter Men’s house league scoresheets, stats and game recaps. It was ALL there. Fast opening goals, I assisted him, he set me up and of course the GWG’s. It is heartwarming to thumb thru the pages and the memories. Such things are much needed at this time.

Neither Br18 nor Br12 will likely lace skates again but the good times, smiles and successes should last long as fond memories.

Yesterday we went to the dentist for an assessment and consultation. It was nearly as bad as expected. One cavity, one wisdom tooth for sure causing a problem but no one has just one wisdom tooth removed. They all get yanked for and in the name of ‘convenience’.

A second follow up visit for the cavity repair and cleaning is tomorrow. Doctor A the dentist was very nice, patient and explained everything carefully and slowly which was good.

I am noticing many times people talk down to others in such a situation which is so wrong and inconsiderate that it may be harmful and slow recovery.

Anyway, not to dwell on this too long, there is a Family meeting with the team scheduled next week however it is looking shaky. The Colonial is right over the horizon, MUST travel to Corpus Christi to retrieve art work at the gallery there Studio C and we have company’s coming for a brief visit to the cloud.

The mosquitoes are now out and have officially been cited. While just short of 'full-force', a few of the still sluggish ones having been slapped into oblivion. I must, MUST go on the offensive with the Demand CS spraying the bushes and shrubs around the perimeters and do THIS soon.

I checked the reclaimed sprayer I had used as a trial yesterday and there was a small hole in the hose leading to the wand which of course is no bueno. Just something else that needs to move up to the higher-priority list.
