It is a good time, aka ‘PERFECT’ to stop and reflect, take some bearings or readings as in where you (me in this case, others in their respective cases) and recollect exactly where you (one in this case) are, where you are headed, how fast do you intend to get there and most importantly, do you really want to get there?

I cannot understate OR over-emphasize the importance of having a solid, viable plan as members and frequent tuners-in well know by now. It is like one of the Commandments. Pick one of the Missing 11-15 Commandments for the sake for this discussion.

THOU SHALT PLAN OR HAVE A PLAN AT ALL TIMES AND BE ABLE AND WILLING TO EXECUTE OR CHANGE WITHOUT HESITATION SHOULD THE NEED ARISE.

THAT CREATES MORE QUESTIONS THAN IT ANSWERS, CREATING PROBLEMS WITH NO SOLUTIONS.

That’s EXACTLY the reason Ms Bold Caps you are still seeking and probably ALWAYS will be.

I have made many astute and learned observations in my life and have studied longevity and successful aging noting and documenting carefully ‘super-agers’ shamelessly borrowing, stealing or swiping quietly gathering such ‘secrets’.

I am thinking MAYBE 2021 is the year I get started on memoirs. I need to touch base with Walt first. He gave me the initial idea. I thought if he could do it, why not? I need one more ‘suggested’ reading prior to undertaking however.

I want to read Ulysses Grant’s memoirs. I read a biography and was truly impressed by both his character and leadership skills in addition to his being largely overlooked by mainstream historians. And he was the 18th President and there you have the magic number (again) and the Daily Double pings and bongs from Jeopardy.

OK Phans. I have suddenly run out of steam here on Christmas morning and the mushroom soup needs tending.

Agnes was over last night for a traditional meatless Christmas eve supper and did not like the mushroom soup so rather than freezing the leftovers they can be for breakfast and lunch and dinner as well.

Nevermind.

After disclosing displeasure at the TEXTURE of the added mushrooms, we finished dinner and drinks without altercation or violence. We played on the newly-resurfaced billiard table and she bested your correspondent best of three series 2-1 and I am THINKING she let me win the third game.

Next time, we’ll probably play some pool but the duel will shift to the darts and the two (2) new boards.

PS: The previosuly mentioned mushroom soup was just starting to stick to the pot and saved so that was not bs. Also, it was SO GOOD, seconds are in order and there will be none left for lunch and other PLANS will be made for supper.
