XXX Jan
Whoa … NOT what you’re THINKING … !!
I KNOW there are a few out there that see the XXX (triple-X) and it trips the ED red flag but not here, not now, today or ever. Still thinking Family friendly here as in little kids.
It’s Roman numerals for 30 which is TODAY. I know, some people are or were not schooled in Roman numerals. It was required I think when I was in school. Apparently not now or AT ALL in Oklahoma.
Well it was a BEAUTIFUL Sunday here today and two (2) in a row as spa time and extended vitamin D sessions caused a slightly burned look back of a stranger in the mirror. All good. Just glorious.
I broke the day into 30 minute segments starting early and got so much accomplished I should get two (2 … dos) medals.
I got the laundry out of the way. A segment on ‘yard’ was WELL within the time limit. I dug up two (2) stumps from low-value shrubs in the back yard killed by the frost last winter to create space for a dwarf lime tree going in this spring. Very cool and exciting.
I started AND continued stripes on the Emperor angelfish which I simply could NOT put off any longer. This operation is grueling and one of my least favs however I can report it is going wel, I am happy with it and I think it will turn out OK.
The 2022 schedule is set for exhibitions, sales and shows. MAYBE room for one more and looking at Lubbock for indoor event but a big if. Logistics would be the long pole in the tent.
Started looking at the planning and planting guide for the garden and plantation food supply. Not too soon to be thinking what’s going in where and when. I harvested some sunchokes today. Smaller ones for next year and 5-6 to prepare this week. Haven’t grown them in years and remember them as very tasty and versatile.
I got the follow up from substack and the the last most recent post. ALMOST reached DOUBLE figures in the 24 hours since posting. It was stuck on 9 which is easing up, encouraging and good. The comments on posts are getting ‘likes’ as well so slowly the following is building.
Son one (aka Br12 & Bd12) is doing well. Thank you ALL for the thoughts and prayers. They have removed all of the tubes (I think) and he is making now swift progress. Without the trach he is speaking and therapy sessions are going off the scale. His G.O.A.T. score (?? Don’t ask) went from 0 (zero) to minus 3 (-3) to over 30 in a day. One doc said that he is beginning to ‘wake up’ and memory is coming back which is again huge.
The insurance and paperwork now all need to start being addressed. In one (1) day, there were 21 (21 !!) envelopes with bills from Texas Radiology Associates. That’s right ONE (1) day. They join the others in a folder. I can’t open them fast enough.
One segment today was planning and organizing. I have a pretty good handle on the upcoming week and the NEW month. Everything from groceries & food supplies, copies and printing, correspondences and a stop for a tutorial at t-mobile. I have a list of things there for getting new features of the new phone squared away.
I’m thinking a trip to Houston coming up again soon. I need to meet with some of the staff with what to expect when S1 gets out near-term.
Another running battle started with American Express and wix. Wix charged my card not once but twice (2x) and they caught it AND I reported one disputing the charge. They (wix) have NO (NONE) customer service number to call. I may not see blog entry 1000 at this rate as I am thinking the jackasses may pull the plug. They really don’t give a crap.
Much like Regions bank credit card on the short list to drop where you hold, hold and hold only to get connected with someone that CANNOT help so they transfer OR drop the call outright OR you go back on hold. Maddening. I drafted a letter today to upper management and it is going out THIS WEEK to them with the green card in PIECES. They apparently and obviously to me do not want the business.
I guess that’s it for now. A pretty packed report I’m thinking with mostly good to great news. Worth every penny.
While there is still a little daylight left I think a little painting is in order so retiring to the garage before the Stars game and small fire in the fireplace.
Then there is tomorrow.
Cheers, peace, love and chow.
